Creative Women Foundation is a Milan-based non-profit organization committed to empowering Balochi women through the preservation and promotion of their traditional art of embroidery. Our mission is to provide support, visibility, and economic opportunities to women artisans from one of the most underserved regions in Iran  Balochistan.

Balochistan is a land of striking natural beauty, defined by vast deserts and rugged mountains. Yet, beneath this beauty lies a harsh reality: widespread poverty, limited access to basic resources, and systemic barriers that particularly affect women. In this challenging landscape, Balochi women continue to uphold a centuries old tradition  the intricate craft of embroidery.

For these women, embroidery is more than artistic expression; it is a lifeline. Each stitch they create tells a story of resilience, hope, and survival. Despite enduring economic and social hardships, these artisans produce stunning hand-embroidered pieces that reflect both cultural heritage and personal strength. Their work not only sustains their families but also keeps alive the rich legacy of Balochi craftsmanship.
